CA'N SORT. Our name, our home.

A name full of meaning

"Can" means "house" in Mallorcan. "Sort" means "luck". For us, CA'N SORT is therefore more than a place: it is the luck of having found this soil – and the commitment to preserve it.

2017

The beginning in the soil

In the northeast of Mallorca, in the Serra de Llevant, our work begins. The soil: hard, rocky, raw. For a year we break stone after stone, crush it, mix it with topsoil. Loud, dusty, exhausting – but necessary for wine to grow at all.

2018 - 2019

Patience and preparation

Before vines could take root here, we had to wait. The soil had to settle, the balance had to be found. Two years in which we learned more about patience than about wine.

2020

The first vines

Two hectares of Sauvignon Blanc and Prensal Blanc. Green among the gray for the first time. A beginning that feels like work – and like the future. Shortly after, another four hectares follow.

2021 - 2022

Learning with each vintage

We understand the soil better, its reactions to climate, rain and sun. Every cut, every harvest, every consultation brings us further. We learn from Sergio Navarra, the Rings brothers and from the Armero family, with whom we are now connected by more than collaboration.

2023

First own vintages

Our wines show what we work for: fresh, clear, mineral. No coincidence, but the result of soil, time and manual work.

Today

Looking forward

Nine more hectares on the Finca Sa Talaia are prepared. Rocks again, dust again, patience again. And the knowledge that lightness only arises when you do the hard part first.
